Job Summary
The Professional Civil Engineer will manage and oversee the design and construction of public and private infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage systems, and water/wastewater pipelines. Responsibilities include managing design and plan production, client management, and supervising technical staff. Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, a PE License, and 4 to 7 years of related experience. Strong design and project management skills are required, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- 4 to 7 years of experience in public works, municipal roadway, drainage, detention, water/wastewater utility design, and/or utilities design
- Strong design experience
- Project manager skills
Desired Qualifications
- PE License in Atlanta or ability to obtain within 6 months
- AutoCAD Civil 3D CAD experience preferred
- Good technical writing and communication skills
- Proficient in project management, administration and supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
