Job Summary
Engineer will provide production technical support and first-level failure analysis for customer products, performing root-cause investigations with documented analysis, coordinating with local and overseas teams, preparing parts for second-level analysis, and assisting in setting up repair lines. The role requires knowledge of Windows, Android, CMD, and Linux tools, strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and includes leading a team 10% of the time; must maintain relationships with customers and suppliers and adapt to warehouse conditions. Education includes an associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience; 3+ years in FA engineering for computing devices preferred. Working in a warehouse environment with potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Associate degree in product design, mechanical, electronic or computer engineering with little experience or 3+ years of equivalent experience as FA engineer for computing devices.
- Hands on Experience in hardware assembly and disassembly on computing devices
- Requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have strong Office suite knowledge (excel, word etc.).
- Requires moderate knowledge of UEFI, WINPE, CMD, Batch files, SDK, ADK, Configuration files such as ini.
- Effectively communicate concepts and solutions with various levels of the organization.
- Effectively liaison between Company and Client.
- Must be able to work cross-functionally with minimal supervision.
- Requires strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Requires flexibility to work overtime for special projects or business supports.
