Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and optimize Virtual Factory systems to support semiconductor manufacturing operations across multiple sites. Collaborate with sister plants in Shanghai and contract manufacturing partners to standardize solutions and drive digital transformation through automation and advanced analytics. Monitor real-time factory data to analyze performance, design visualization dashboards, and perform root cause analysis on manufacturing issues. Coordinate system upgrades, validate applications, and lead cross-functional problem-solving teams to improve operational stability and productivity. Work independently to execute continuous improvement projects and share technical expertise globally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, factory automation, manufacturing systems, or Virtual Factory environment
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and factory operations - SIP and SSD
- Good knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Factory Automation (FA), and Manufacturing Intelligence platforms
- Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Yield Improvement, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Problem-Solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, PDCA, Fishbone, 5 Why)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
- Self-motivated with strong ownership and accountability
- Good project management, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong presentation and technical documentation skills
- Good command of written and spoken English

- Experience working with sister plants, global manufacturing teams, or contract manufacturing partners
- Experience supporting high-volume semiconductor manufacturing operations
- Mandarin language proficiency
- Experience with AI, Machine Learning, or Predictive Analytics in manufacturing
- Experience with Digital Twin or Virtual Factory implementation
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and factory automation systems
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, PMP, Agile, or Data Analytics
- Experience supporting global manufacturing digital transformation initiatives
