Job Summary
Process Engineer in a cement plant focused on maximizing production and KPI optimization through process analysis, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include initiating and implementing plant-improvement projects, performing mass and heat balances, hydraulic calculations, equipment diagnostics, PID optimization, safety compliance, training, and ensuring environmental and quality specifications are met. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemistry or Chemical preferred) or related major, 2-5 years of cement-related experience, ability to travel ~10%, and readiness to work in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemistry or Chemical preferred) or related major
- 2-5 years progressive experience in cement
- Cement experience and knowledge in quality, operation and maintenance
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Must possess at least a basic understanding of raw geologic materials (e.g. limestone, clay, sand, iron ore) and familiarity with cement manufacturing processes
