Job Summary
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems. Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications through functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies. Generate system and segment-level test procedures while ensuring logical conversion of requirements acknowledges technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Work onsite within the Eastern Region Systems Engineering organization to develop, design, produce, and sustain optimized product lines. Requires active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance and experience with Agile programs, Atlassian tools, and Cameo/DOORS.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
- 2 years of relevant experience (or 0 years with a Master's degree)
- Experience with requirements development
- Experience with decomposition
- Experience with software verification
- Experience with generating system and segment-level test procedures
- Experience working on Agile programs and methodology
- Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Experience with Cameo
- Experience with DOORS
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Must be available onsite (no remote or hybrid work)
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with full engineering life cycle
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience with Cameo, STK, Python, MATLAB, Automated Testing
