Job Summary
Aeronautical Engineer serving in a Liaison Engineering role within Vehicle Engineering, focusing on design, development, and testing of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and components. Responsibilities include establishing structural specifications, performing stress analysis, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams to resolve defects, maintaining MRB process integrity, and acting as the engineering authority for non-conformances. Proficiency with NX, TeamCenter, and CAD tools; experience with MRB processes; and the ability to obtain a US Secret clearance are required. The role is located in Palmdale, CA, on a 1st shift with a 4/10 Monday–Thursday schedule, with 10% travel and relocation support available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in STEM from an accredited institution
- minimum 2 years experience for Aeronautical Engineer OR Masters with 0 years OR PhD with 0 years
- Experience with MRB process
- Experience with TeamCenter and NX, Visualization Professional, or other CAD program
- Current in-scope USG Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Program Special access
