Engineer-Preventative Maintenance

Job Summary
Assist with operation maintenance and repair of equipment, including changing light bulbs and performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms, ice machines, refrigerators, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, and swimming pools. Execute trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing while monitoring energy conservation and repairing small equipment upon request. Immediately follow up on alarms to determine location and cause, report emergency status to the Front Desk, and handle guest requests and work orders. Requires a valid driver's license and MVR; shuttle van driving may be needed. Full-time position with competitive benefits including daily pay, medical/dental/vision coverage, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Licensed in a trade (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.)
