Engineer-Preventative Maintenance

Job Summary
Conduct operation maintenance and repair of equipment, including changing light bulbs and performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms, ice machines, refrigerators, laundry equipment, and HVAC systems. Execute trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor furniture repairs while monitoring energy conservation. Immediately follow up on alarms to determine location and cause, then report emergency status to the Front Desk. Assist with guest requests and other work orders as assigned, driving a shuttle van when needed. Requires a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Licensed in a trade (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.)
- Preferentemente conocimiento básico y experiencia en carpintería plomería reparación mecánica pintura y sistemas de aire acondicionado y calefacción (HVAC)
