Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years in automotive design/development
- Demonstrable CAD skills and knowledge of GD&T
- Experience in the detailed design and release of prototype and production component drawings and supplier spec sheets
- Knowledge of typical automotive manufacturing methods (i.e. Aluminum and Iron Castings, Forgings, Machining, Thermoplastics, and Rubber Molding)
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of conventional, hybrid and electrified drivelines
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Desired Qualifications
- Master\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (added bonus)
- Hands-on experience with driveline/powertrain assemblies
- Detailed knowledge of Transfer Cases, Propeller Shafts, Driveshafts, and Differentials
- Experience with Catia, FEA, Vehicle NVH, and Vehicle Simulations
- A working knowledge of DRBFM
- A working knowledge of Quality Management and Supply Chain Management principles
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- Toyota Business Panel (TBP) through panel
Additional Requirements
