Job Summary
The Platform Engineer (India) designs, builds, and maintains the underlying infrastructure and services that host the Generative AI platform. Responsibilities include configuring cloud services and automating deployment, monitoring, and scaling through DevOps practices; ensuring platform performance, reliability, and uptime; collaborating with development, QA, and security teams; and maintaining governance documentation. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, 3–5 years in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE, hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible); cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are beneficial; strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash); observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus); and willingness to participate in on-call rotation. The role supports remote/hybrid work arrangements in India with a Bengaluru (Bangalore) location noted, and emphasizes collaboration across multiple teams and vendor liaison as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years in platform engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering (SRE)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
