Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules using Primavera P6 while ensuring full compliance with RTA specifications and contractual requirements. Monitor progress against baselines, identify critical path impacts, and conduct detailed schedule risk and time impact analyses. Coordinate planning activities with RTA approval procedures, including interim milestones, traffic staging, and authority approvals. Review contractor programs and method statements against contractual milestones and KPIs, then prepare master schedules, look-ahead programs, and progress reports. Evaluate Extension of Time claims with comprehensive planning narratives and develop recovery plans to address delays and track long-lead items. Lead weekly and monthly planning meetings with stakeholders to provide strategic inputs for project managers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 7-12 years of professional experience in planning engineering, with demonstrated expertise in community infrastructure projects and claims
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent project planning software
- Proven experience with schedule risk analysis, time impact analysis, and recovery planning methodologies
- Demonstrated expertise in Extension of Time (EOT) claims preparation and evaluation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to organize complex information and manage multiple priorities in a goal-oriented manner
- Experience with procurement tracking, long-lead item management, and bottleneck identification
- Must be able to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience with traffic staging, phasing requirements, and authority approval coordination in UAE construction projects
