Job Summary
Engineer responsible for upkeep, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of ice machines, refrigeration units, air handling units, and related equipment in a hotel setting. Must be customer service oriented and capable of delivering a high guest experience. Requires knowledge of commercial refrigeration, ice machines, industrial chiller systems, and general maintenance procedures. Full-time role with benefits; evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience preferably in a hotel; franchised hotel experience a plus
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment critical to the operation of the building; proper chemical handling and disposal
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to interact positively with hotel personnel and provide prompt solutions
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
