Job Summary
Engineer, Performance Modelling at Renesas responsible for developing SystemC TLM 2.0 performance models for SoCs and performing performance analysis to optimize components (DDR, CPU, GPU, interconnects) and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, UCIe); collaborate with SoC architects and cross-functional teams to define performance requirements and deliver high-quality products; mentor junior engineers in performance modelling techniques; stay updated with advancements in SoC performance modelling; requires 10+ years of experience and strong SystemC proficiency; degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in SoC performance modelling and analysis
- Proficiency in developing SystemC TLM 2.0 performance models and strong understanding of SystemC simulators
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture, including CPU, GPU, DDR and interconnects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
