Job Summary
Perform routine preventive maintenance on hotel equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and pool machinery. Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints and manuals, then repair or replace defective parts with hand and power tools. Complete maintenance work orders for tasks such as replacing ceiling tiles, patching vinyl, and refurbishing guest room furniture. Service the building exterior through snow removal, lawn care, and painting while maintaining clean work areas. Respond courteously to guest requests and complaints regarding room conditions. Adhere to Peachtree Hospitality Management Standards and attend required training meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain regular attendance standards, as required by scheduling
- Have knowledge and understanding of all department policies and procedures
- Operation of heavy machinery
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
- Assemble, install, and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment
- Perform maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- Attend or all/training/meetings as required by management
