ENGINEER, PE GFX ATE

On-siteTaichung, Taiwan, Taiwan

Full TimeMid LevelEnterprise

Job Summary

Ramp high-speed GDDR-class products into high-volume production on ATE, driving yield, quality, and cost targets from wafer through package. Develop, debug, and optimize high-speed test programs while expanding coverage and advancing Design-for-Test strategy. Perform high-speed I/O characterization and margining, including data-eye and timing-margin analysis across corners. Lead failure analysis for electrical and physical fails to achieve significant DPM reduction and eliminate quality escapes. Own yield monitoring and improvement by extracting parametric data from probe, burn-in, and final-test sites. Partner cross-functionally with design, product, and manufacturing teams to present findings and drive decisions. Help stand up an emerging initiative applying agentic AI to automate test orchestration, generate test programs, and accelerate root-cause analysis. Build failure-monitoring dashboards that turn test data into faster decisions for high-speed test engineering.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • ATE product/test engineering experience commensurate with a mid/senior level (typically 4+ years)
  • Proven hands-on experience developing, debugging, and optimizing ATE test programs for high-speed devices
  • Strong high-speed I/O and characterization background: data-eye/timing-margin analysis, AC timing extraction, and parametric data interpretation
  • Demonstrated results in yield improvement and DPM/quality-escape reduction
  • Solid failure-analysis skills for electrical and physical fails, with structured root-cause methodology
  • Strong programming/scripting ability and comfort working with large test datasets

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with GDDR or other high-speed memory (DDR, LPDDR, HBM) or high-speed serial I/O
  • DFT development and test-time/cost-reduction leadership
  • Experience automating test flows or applying AI/ML or agentic tools to engineering data and workflows
  • Experience with system-level test and cross-functional, multi-site production ramps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
