Engineer - PCB Library

The primary responsibility is to create, maintain and govern PCB libraries (symbols, footprints, and associated data) to ensure design accuracy, quality, and consistency across projects. Provide reliable, standardized, and manufacturing-ready PCB components in accordance with IPC standards. Ensure strict IPC compliance (IPC-7351, IPC Class 3) and internal guidelines; adhere to library creation checklists, QC processes, and approval workflows. Support PCB designers and stakeholders with library queries, updates, and issue resolution; act as a gatekeeper to prevent defective or non-compliant parts from entering design workflows. Demonstrate hands-on experience with Altium Designer and familiarity with database/configuration tools (Enovia/PLM, GitHub, CIS/CIP, SVN). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PCB, Manufacturing, SCM, Quality) to ensure library readiness and alignment. Maintain data accuracy, traceability, and controlled updates within library systems. Include knowledge of DFMA, EMI/EMC considerations, and experience with PCB manufacturing processes and Gerber validation.
