Job Summary
Coordinate, schedule and prioritize solar module manufacturing operations across Semiconductor or Module areas; leverage diverse data sources to identify and implement manufacturing improvements that positively impact factory performance metrics, safety, and employee satisfaction. Act as content expert for semiconductor or module operations, lead cross-functional coordination, drive continuous improvement, and train/guide supervisors and technicians to enhance technical competencies. Ensure safety procedures and 5S standards are followed, translate strategy into actionable deliverables for daily/weekly/monthly targets, and collaborate with shift managers to achieve operational objectives across multiple crews.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a business or engineering discipline with 6 years of technical manufacturing experience or 3 years of First Solar technical experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, master’s degree, or Ph.D. in a business or engineering discipline with no experience required
- Technical work experience in combination with a degree is preferred
