Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer responsible for design engineering support for New Product Development (NPD) and improvement projects. Tasks include concept design, CAD modelling and detailing in Creo, BOM creation, design packages with 3D models and drawings, and coordinating with global teams to meet quality and schedule. Requires expert Creo proficiency (sheet metal) and experience with BOMs, CO processes, and PLM tools, plus ability to work independently, manage projects, and participate in customer/internal reviews. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and strong communication skills are essential for global collaboration and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years Creo experience
- 3D modelling and detailing in Creo
- Experience generating Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Working experience with PLM tools
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Experience handling large CAD assemblies in CREO
