Job Summary
Engineer Mechanical responsible for Global Design Engineering support for New Product development, VAVE and improvement projects. Duties include concept design, NPD, BOMs, CAD modelling and detailing using SolidWorks, creating design packages with 3D models, assemblies, drawings and BOM structures, and adhering to project management processes. Requires independent work capability, strong communication in English, and experience with SolidWorks in sheet metal, PLM tools, and handling large CAD assemblies; familiarity with CO process, external simplified representations, and telecom/electrical enclosure design is a plus. Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience on Solidworks platform in Sheet metal domain
- Solidworks experience with 3D modelling and detailing and BOM generation
- Experience with CO process
- Experience with PLM tools; Agile or PD cloud advantageous
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
- Experience in telecom/electrical enclosure design advantageous
- Good English communication skills
- Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, willingness to learn
- Experience handling large CAD assemblies in SolidWorks
- Able to work independently with little guidance
- Willingness to travel 10%
