Job Summary
Validate CAD models in Creo against design inputs, standards, and legacy data, while cross-checking 3D assemblies for geometry correctness, fitment, and missing features. Ensure material assignment, naming conventions, and part numbering standards align with company guidelines, then verify engineering drawings for dimensional accuracy, GD&T, and manufacturing readiness. Cross-reference BOMs and assembly structures between Creo, Agile PLM, and PD Cloud systems, validating all attributes including classification, lifecycle stage, and supplier data. Perform data consistency checks before release, manage ECO/ECN changes, and coordinate with design, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to resolve discrepancies. Create validation checklists to support continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a mechanical engineering diploma or bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of Creo experience in the sheet metal domain.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma/bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 1-3 years of experience on Creo platform in Sheet metal domain
- Working experience in 3D modelling and detailing work on Creo
- Experience on generating Bills of Materials
- Strong learning attitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
- Experience in handling large CAD assemblies in CREO
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure in Sheet Metal domain
- Working experience on any PLM tools
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process
