Job Summary
Lead new product development for liquid cooling thermal products, designing mechanical solutions focusing on sheet metal and piping while collaborating with suppliers, procurement, and industrial engineering. Create and review product documentation including CAD drawings and bills of material, and analyze technical problems to improve assembly, reduce costs, and enhance quality. Manage objectives for cost, quality, environment, and execution time across ranges such as cooling distribution units, chillers, and computer room air conditioning systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor In Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3~7 years of engineering product development or support experience
- Strong credential of working on Mechanical Design tools
- Significant Sheetmetal design experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical concepts, products, safety and test-methods
- Data-entry systems familiarity & Bill of Material Creation Experience - Oracle, Agile, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically
- Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional Global Development Teams
- Fluency in English
- 10% travel
Desired Qualifications
- MBD (Model Based Definition) experience preferred
- CREO preferred
- Design using Cero has added advantage
- Knowledge on data management, problem solving techniques, Pugh matrix analysis, DFMEA, DFA/DFM/DFS design for cost and serviceability
