Job Summary
Engineer's responsibilities include designing functional, reliable, and cost-effective heavy-duty vehicle components; performing engineering analyses and design or redesigns; developing components for existing and new vehicles; supporting senior engineers with layouts, drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical reports; collaborating with internal/external teams and suppliers; evaluating designs for performance, safety, and reliability; applying engineering criteria and drawing standards; and providing technical assistance for production support. The role emphasizes under-close-supervision, basic calculations, and contributing to projects of limited complexity while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Strong emphasis on mechanical engineering fundamentals, CAD proficiency, and ability to model system performance and optimize designs.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work experience
