Job Summary
Respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry; inspect and repair tools and equipment; maintain maintenance inventory; operate shut-off valves and utility shut-offs; coordinate daily activities with other shifts using approved communication standards; demonstrate basic knowledge in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and related systems; perform surface preparation, painting, drywall repairs, and cleanup; troubleshoot and repair equipment and guestroom items; program TVs and manage related housekeeping/engineering inventory; follow Lockout/Tagout and safety policies; maintain professional appearance; develop positive working relationships and support team goals; lift up to 50 pounds; use computers to input schedules and adjust temperatures as needed; perform other reasonable duties as requested.
