Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes related to SMT routing and manufacturing. Troubleshoot and support complex manufacturing equipment while compiling data to analyze manufacturing processes for process control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop process improvements, support operators through training, and monitor product yields to maintain program targets. Attend program meetings to report yield issues, investigate findings, and execute corrective actions. This 1st shift position supports our highly automated SMT environment, requiring a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering and Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related STEM field
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related STEM field
- Minimum of 0 years of experience
- Experience reading and interpreting specifications, parts list, and engineering drawings
- Attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate successful problem solving and analysis
- U.S. Citizenship

- Previous experience with MS Office tools
- 1st shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Experience in the SMT or similar environment
- Experience with Troubleshooting complex equipment to ensure adequate availability and performance
- Understanding of GD&T and measurement methods
- Hands-on troubleshooting of complex manufacturing equipment
- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
