Logistics Engineer 1 analyzes the supply chain, transportation, warehouse operations and distribution network and develops recommendations for reducing freight costs, creating material efficiencies, and improving on-time delivery. Establishes, maintains, and communicates statistical data on tracking product shipments, returns, and inventory. Supports logistics data-driven strategy and manages projects to help logistics meet efficiency and service goals. Responsibilities include data extraction and reporting for performance tracking, data validation and cleansing, modeling scenarios for labor/equipment/facility needs, developing processes and systems with IT, creating optimization scenarios aligned to objectives, automating processes via scripts/programs, maintaining data systems, contributing to value-adding opportunities, and ensuring on-time project delivery within budget. Requires 0-2 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering/data science/computer science (or equivalent), project management experience, and willingness to travel up to 5%. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. On-site work in WALLER, TX, USA.
