Job Summary
Maintain and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and electrical systems to ensure consistent environmental control and facility readiness. Troubleshoot pneumatic and electronic equipment, test emergency electrical systems during power outages, and service fire safety equipment including alarms and sprinkler systems. Install, maintain, and repair locks and door hardware while conducting routine and emergency maintenance on patient care equipment to support safe clinical operations. Perform day-to-day running repairs across the facility to ensure continuous and safe operation of hospital services.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completed courses in apprenticeship program for journeyman engineer
- Four years minimum experience
- Knowledge of heating cooling and ventilation
- Current valid applicable state driver's license
- Driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements
