Job Summary
Manage ongoing site engineering activities and lead key improvement programs across multiple semiconductor sites. Drive strategic process development for yield improvement and convert small-scale processes into commercially viable large-scale operations. Serve as technical lead for global peers by providing guidance on complex technical problems and defining process requirements for new product introductions. Interface with sales to develop customer-ready technical roadmaps and deploy engineering solutions for key account concerns. Lead projects to improve systems and operations while ensuring processes meet specified regulations and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry or Physics or relevant semiconductor related degree
- 6+ years related experience in high-technology manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry
- Superior people management and leadership skills
- familiarity with wet chemistry processing, semiconductor tool consumables, semiconductor technology, critical cleaning technology, semiconductor processing, coating technologies, and CAD implementation
- High level troubleshooting skills coupled with hands-on approach to solving problems
- Utilizes project management methods for tracking projects
- Effective verbal & written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the organization
- Able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Demonstrable understanding of production, engineering & quality initiatives and with safety & quality practices
- Proficiency in the use Excel, PowerPoint and other systems/software to perform job duties satisfactorily
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or higher degree, or equivalent post-graduate education in above subjects preferred
