Job Summary
Injection Molding Engineer at Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Jacksonville, FL. Responsible for plastic injection molding process and mechanical assignments, development of preventative maintenance strategies, frontline IMM support, and collaboration with vendors/sub-contractors from design through start-up. Supports continuous improvement of technology and processes, participates in design reviews, qualification of equipment/controls, and provides training to Operations Engineers and Technicians to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment. Required skills include change control planning, vendor coordination, QA/Regulatory awareness (GMP/ISO) and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience
- Experience working with vendors to select, source, quote, and procure components
- Experience in ISO and FDA regulated environment
- English fluency required
- 10% Travel
