Job Summary

Engineer-In-Training II – Structural responsible for supporting a broad range of structural design tasks including CAD/BIM development, calculations, reports, and field observations. Works with owners, architects, and contractors, and coordinates with other disciplines. Responsibilities include preparing details and calculations, learning products and construction procedures, preparing reports, providing field observation during construction, applying building code requirements, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, and proacting solutions. Skills/experience include proficiency with CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoDesk REVIT, RAM, SAP, ETABS, RISA, etc.), structural design experience, familiarity with design codes, and strong written and interpersonal communication. Desirable items include experience with Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, SQL, C#, C++, VBA; hybrid work arrangement in Colorado; relocation reimbursement may be provided; eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum (Architectural, Civil, Environmental, Construction, Structural, or related engineering field)
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination passed
