Job Summary
TEM Semiconductor software subject-matter expert within the software R&D group, translating end-customer needs and application workflows into actionable requirements and solution guidance for software teams. Partner with Apps Dev and Semi ART leadership to align priorities, provide customer-focused execution, and deliver TEM and semiconductor domain knowledge across cross-functional teams. Conduct high-quality TEM demonstrations, develop new techniques and applications for Thermo Fisher partners, train customers, and advise on potential application directions aligned with technical feasibility. Cultivate customer relationships, communicate complex technology clearly, troubleshoot software/hardware issues, and contribute to future product developments. Travel internationally (up to 25%) and support collaboration with marketing and development groups on product direction.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a relevant position within a research environment
- Hands-on experience with TEM (transmission electron microscopy)
- Knowledge of advanced technology diagnostics and analytical equipment, especially electron and ion microscopes
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Dutch language skills beneficial
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25% and obtain a valid passport
