Job Summary
Electrical/I&C Engineer at the Harris Nuclear Plant in New Hill, NC, eligible for Engineer III or Senior Engineer level. Responsibilities include providing engineering/technical guidance, troubleshooting, coordinating maintenance planning and reliability improvements, preparing technical reports, supporting operability determinations, and mentoring other engineers. Requires a BS in engineering (ABET-accredited) with 4-6 years of experience for Engineer III or 6+ years (or 5+ with PE) for Senior Engineer; MS may substitute for BS. Must be able to obtain unescorted access, work in an industrial plant environment, and operate in a Hybrid work arrangement (remote 2 days, onsite 2 days after onboarding). Relocation assistance provided as applicable. No visa sponsorship. Travel 5-15%.
Required Qualifications
- Nuc Engineer III: BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program; MS considered in lieu of BS
- Minimum 4-6 years of engineering experience
- Sr Nuc Engineer: BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program; MS considered in lieu of BS; Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience, OR 5 years with PE
- Ability to achieve Unescorted Access/Security clearance
- Hybrid work arrangement after onboarding (2 days remote, 2 days onsite) and reasonable commute to HNP
