Job Summary
Senior SAP SD Engineer role focused on designing, configuring, and supporting SAP SD solutions across the Order-to-Cash lifecycle within SAP S/4HANA SD and Simple Logistics. Responsibilities include designing and testing SAP customizations, ABAP debugging, preparing functional specifications and technical designs, ensuring integration with FI, COPA, and logistics, configuring SD components (sales order processing, delivery, billing, pricing, tax, output determination, credit management, revenue recognition), supporting EDI/IDOC interfaces, participating in unit testing/SIT/UAT and production support, and driving process improvements and optimization. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (FI, PP, QM, PM) and adherence to development standards and best practices are required.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD, with strong focus on O2C processes
- At least 1 full-cycle SAP implementation, preferably on SAP S/4HANA SD / Simple Logistics
- Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash processes, including Sales order management, Pricing (advanced pricing concepts, condition techniques), Billing and invoicing, Shipping and delivery processes
- Strong configuration expertise in Enterprise structure, Master data (customer, material, pricing conditions), Output determination, taxes, and billing processes
- Good understanding of integration with FI (accounts receivable), COPA, and logistics execution
- Experience in IDOC processing, EDI integration, and interface troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with User exits, BADIs, enhancements; Functional specifications for RICEFW objects; ABAP debugging skills (mandatory) and basic ABAP development exposure is desirable
- Strong experience in support, upgrade, and enhancement projects
- Nice to Have: ABAP on HANA / CDS views / debugging in S/4 environment; Fiori apps in SD; Knowledge of advanced ATP (aATP), FSCM Credit Management; Global/template rollout experience
