Job Summary
Design, develop, and support mechanical components and assemblies, including mechanisms, enclosures, and structural elements, from concept through production. Lead new product development projects by managing design, CAD modeling, and documentation while performing tolerance analysis and design optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, support system integration, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the product life cycle. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at target cost through robust engineering planning and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 9-11 years of experience in design and development of Mechanical Engineering for complex products or systems
- Strong experience with CAD tools and mechanical design principles
- Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and hands-on problem solving
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments
- Strong knowledge of phase gate-based product development
- Exposure to regulated product development environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with laboratory equipment
- Experience with DFM/DFA, fluid flow systems like pumps, motors, heaters
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems
- Experience with testing, validation, and product life cycle support
