Seeking a highly motivated Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineer III to lead product design, qualification, and cost optimization initiatives for globally manufactured products, focusing on VAVE strategies, cost reduction, and ensuring product performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Strong track record of driving strategic cost reduction and VAVE initiatives
- Proven experience managing end-to-end VAVE projects
- Proficiency in product cost analysis and engineering optimization techniques
- Solid understanding of global engineering standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- VAVE certification and/or PMP certification (good to have)
- Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter and CAD platforms like UG/NX (UGX)
