Job Summary
Respond to guest repair requests and attend to maintenance issues with minimal supervision. Perform preventive maintenance on hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, read blueprints and electrical schematics, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and related equipment, and safely use hand and power tools. Maintain inventory and requisition parts, communicate daily activities to shifts, follow Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures, mentor other engineers as needed, and ensure operations meet company standards and applicable codes. Requires high school diploma or GED with vocational/technical background, Universal CFC Certification, and a valid driver’s license; at least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing
- Valid Driver’s License
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
- 2 years hotel engineering/maintenance experience
