Engineer III

POSITION SUMMARY: Respond to and attend to guest repair requests, communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision, perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment (including cleaning and lubrication), visually inspect equipment, carry tools, locate and operate shut-off valves, maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts, and communicate daily activities across shifts using approved standards. Demonstrates advanced ability to read standard blueprints and electrical schematics for plumbing and HVAC, and applies engineering operations skills across categories such as air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building management. Performs highly complex repairs to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems with minimal supervision, troubleshoots equipment including pumps and motors, and follows Lockout/Tagout procedures. Utilizes engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance and energy management, and may mentor other engineers. May assume Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and rounds, while adhering to company safety policies and providing excellent guest service.
