Job Summary
Develop and sustain test equipment for manufacturing and service operations. Debug, repair, and update multi-rack test stations including network/spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, fiber-optic and optical measurement devices, power supplies, and electronic loads. Build and maintain test and automation software with Python, C#, LabVIEW, Visual Basic, and related tools. Diagnose issues to ensure reliable operation with minimal downtime; collaborate with technicians and manufacturing engineers on Expert On Call tickets; coordinate test equipment design reviews and documentation; design test solutions to maximize coverage for manufacturing and service environments; present project and technical information to peers and management. Travel to and work primarily onsite in Cedar Rapids; support external customers and MLA programs. Learn and grow within RTX’s engineer development programs and CORE Operating Systems, contributing to mission-critical test capabilities for aerospace and defense applications.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

- U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility
- Active DoD security clearance required after day 1
