Job Summary
Engineer II in CrowdStrike's TechOps CICD team focused on enterprise services. Build and maintain tooling powering automated workflows for deploying, managing, and operating CrowdStrike Production Services. Design and implement solutions that support production deployments at scale. Hands-on with modern infrastructure technologies; collaborate with experienced engineers in a demanding cybersecurity environment. Emphasizes mentorship, continuous learning, and high standards of operational excellence. Key responsibilities include service administration with Jenkins JCASC, artifact repositories (Artifactory/Nexus), source control (Bitbucket/GitLab), and deployments using Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Rancher, FluxCD; IaC provisioning with Ansible and Chef; development with Python/Go; Linux administration in hybrid environments; ensuring proper monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery; and producing high-quality documentation. Desired skills include 5+ years in large-scale hybrid production environments, AI assistance to improve processes, excellent communication, and ability to work with distributed teams. Nice-to-have: on-prem virtualization, networking patterns, database operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of administration/engineering experience in a large-scale hybrid production environment
- Experience with Jenkins JCASC and artifact repositories (JFrog Artifactory or Nexus)
- Experience with source control (Atlassian Bitbucket, GitLab)
- Strong deployments with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Rancher, FluxCD
- Provisioning tools such as Ansible and Chef
- Programming in Python and/or Go; Linux administration in hybrid environments
- Knowledge of monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery for critical services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with local and remote teams
- Security mindset and understanding of cybersecurity principles
- Nice-to-have: on-prem virtualization, networking patterns, database operations
