Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, installation, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, including boilers, refrigeration units, air handlers, and kitchen equipment. Execute cosmetic repairs on carpets, wallpaper, paint, and furniture while responding to service calls assigned by the dispatcher. Implement maintenance projects such as filter replacements, lubrication, and lighting upgrades, ensuring all physical plant equipment remains in good repair. File daily logs for routine duties and repair requests, adhering to Silverton service standards and safety protocols. Work independently in extreme temperatures while lifting up to 100 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- knowledgeable of mechanical and electrical engineering

- knowledge of refrigeration
- knowledge of heating
- knowledge of carpentry
- licensed in areas of interest electrical
- licensed in areas of interest HVAC
- EPA certification
- licensed in plumbing
- strong kitchen equipment repair experience
- ability to work in extreme temperatures
- ability to carry up to 100 lbs
- ability to kneel, stand or walk for extended periods of time
- ability to bend at waist and lift to overhead
- ability to stretch overhead and hold while on ground or ladder
- ability to work independently without supervision
- Vision ability to read labeling of chemicals, motors, and potential problems
- Auditory ability to hear and understand portable radio calls
- Must be able to determine safety issues, bring to attention of leaders and take corrective action if possible
- Must be able to communicate and understand English for safety and guest service purposes
