Job Summary
Design, manufacture, and operate structures, machines, and systems while independently evaluating technical variables and applying standard procedures. Investigate moderate technical assignments with clear objectives, work on special projects, write ECNs, and create prototypes under broad direction. May supervise engineers or technicians assisting with specific assignments and collaborate jointly on unusual problems. Perform work involving conventional plans, investigations, and equipment with relatively few complex features. This role supports the development of proprietary disposable medical devices for interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures in cardiology, radiology, oncology, and critical care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical field related to the department of assignment or industry
- three years previous related experience
- Ability to apply analytical skills and scientific technical principles in problem solving and development
- Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member
- Working knowledge of United States and international standards as applicable to the department
- Multiple Shifts and Hours to choose from: Days, Swing (Eve), and Nights
