Job Summary
Engineer II, Platform Integration responsible for hardware–software integration for Outrider's autonomous yard-automation system. Design and develop hardware systems in compliance with safety standards (ISO 26262), perform FMEA, collaborate with software/system QA, define and document hardware safety requirements, perform hardware architecture analysis, develop/ review schematics and layouts, conduct testing and verification (including fault injection/simulation), and drive continuous improvement of hardware design processes. Role includes domestic travel up to 20% and is hybrid at the HQ in Henderson, CO. Requires a BS in CS, ME, EE, or Physics with 24 months of robotics experience integrating software/hardware systems; proficiency with Linux and command line; familiarity with TCP/UDP/CAN/I2C/SPI; strong troubleshooting; full software development lifecycle; relocation assistance available; base salary $122k–$135k plus benefits and equity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or Physics, plus 24 months’ experience in robotics engineering integrating software/hardware systems for robotics, autonomous vehicles, or other automotive/aerospace products.
