Job Summary
Assist in the planning, analysis, and design of engineering projects for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, including grading, drainage, and utility systems. Prepare engineering calculations, technical documentation, and design deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers while utilizing drafting tools and standard office applications. Coordinate with project managers, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to support permitting, compliance, and project delivery. Manage assigned tasks to meet established schedules and quality expectations through internal meetings and coordination efforts. Work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT/EI) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant engineering experience
- Working knowledge of engineering design principles, practices, and applicable codes and standards
- Proficiency with common engineering software, drafting/design tools, and standard office applications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as needed
