Job Summary
Design, develop, and improve electrical systems, circuits, and components while creating and reviewing schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation. Select electronic components per specifications, support prototype validation, and plan laboratory tests to evaluate product performance, reliability, and safety. Perform electrical measurements, analyze results, and prepare technical reports. Troubleshoot issues related to prototypes, products, and manufacturing processes, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Ensure designs comply with safety and regulatory requirements, maintain accurate technical documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Support new product introduction from concept through production and participate in continuous improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Product Design, Testing, Laboratory Engineering, Product Development, or a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment
- Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and product validation
- Experience with electrical design software, CAD tools, data acquisition systems, or engineering analysis tools
- Knowledge of applicable UL, IEC, NEC, or other electrical/product safety standards
