Job Summary
Engineer II responsible for responding to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues with limited supervision, and performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. Duties include inspecting and operating equipment, identifying shut-off valves, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with shifts. Requires proficiency in multiple trades (e.g., electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry) and the ability to troubleshoot and repair diverse hotel systems (MEP), with capability to train/mentor other engineers and perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities. Must follow safety policies (Lockout/Tagout) and uphold service standards, guest relations, and professional conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
