Engineer II

Job Summary
Engineer II responsible for responding to guest maintenance requests, performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, inspecting and repairing guestroom systems, operating and maintaining MEP systems, and ensuring clear communication across shifts. Requires proficiency in multiple maintenance domains (air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building management), basic hand and power tool safety, and ability to train/mentor other engineers. Duties include occupational safety practices, use of Lockout/Tagout, inventory management, and performing duties related to guest comfort and facility upkeep. Preferred background includes at least 2 years hotel engineering/maintenance experience, HS diploma or GED with technical background, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background.
- Universal CFC Certification
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
- Valid Driver’s License
