Engineer II

Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, inspect and operate shut-off valves, maintain maintenance inventory, and ensure daily activities are communicated across shifts. Demonstrate proficiency in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building management; possess solid tool handling skills and basic repair capabilities (e.g., PVC piping, soldering) and troubleshoot various equipment (MEP, pumps, motors, lighting, electrical outlets). Program TVs, assist with painting and minor repairs, and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures. Exhibit ability to train/mentor other engineers and perform Engineer on Duty duties, while adhering to safety policies and company standards. Requires high school/GED and vocational/technical background with at least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience; no supervisory requirement.
