Job Summary
Engineer II responsible for responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance on hotel tools and equipment, inspecting and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and supporting engineering duties across guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities include communicating daily activities across shifts, maintaining maintenance inventory, operating and testing equipment and shut-off valves, and assisting with surface preparation, painting, drywall, and general repairs. Must demonstrate proficiency in multiple categories such as air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and energy conservation, with strong tool safety knowledge and ability to mentor other engineers while handling Engineer on Duty duties as needed. Must follow safety policies, ensure professionalism, and provide excellent guest service. Prior hotel engineering/maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license are required; CFC certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
- Valid Driver’s License
