Job Summary
Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance on hotel systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, and HVAC. Operate hand and power tools safely while performing carpentry, finishing, and kitchen equipment repairs. Manage energy conservation efforts and oversee general building operations with proficiency in multiple systems. Maintain excellent organizational skills to handle fast-paced, multi-tasking demands across weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts. Requires advanced skills in at least three technical areas with basic knowledge in others. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits available Day 1.
Required Qualifications
- Strong engineering operations skills with mechanical abilities
- Proficiency in at least three of the following areas, with basic to advanced skills in others: Air conditioning & refrigeration, Electrical & mechanical systems, Plumbing, Pneumatic/electronic systems & controls, Carpentry & finishing, Kitchen equipment & vehicles, Energy conservation, General building management
- Expertise in using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly, professional demeanor with a strong commitment to teamwork
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight, and overtime as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
