Job Summary
Engineer-II role developing Concept, Preliminary, and Detailed designs for water and wastewater projects, including hydraulic modelling, storm drainage optimisation, and low-carbon solutions aligned with Net Zero objectives. Responsibilities include model checking, BIM coordination and clash analysis, improving design tools and checklists, applying Atkins QSE standards, and collaborating with digital teams. Requires 4–6 years in water/wastewater, familiarity with ME/BS codes, and proficiency in relevant design software; relocation assistance is available; hybrid/remote opportunities outside the country may be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- 4–6 years of experience in the Water & Wastewater industry
- Experience with water and drainage design (storm, foul water, potable water, TSE, and irrigation) and familiarity with ME/BS or similar international Codes of Practice
- Hands-on experience with design software (MicroDrainage, CivilStorm, StormCAD, SewerCAD) and BIM platforms (Civil 3D, Microstation, OpenRoads/InRoads/MX Road, Revit, Navisworks, Revizto)
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills
- Chartered membership or working towards chartership (ICE, CIWEM, or equivalent)
