Job Summary
Own high-speed serial interface and protocol features, including AMBA, DSP, and Video IP cores, by developing optimized test benches and coding verification test cases. Drive process improvements through innovative methodologies, analyze coverage metrics to define additional test cases, and lead the complete verification cycle with strong debugging and independent problem-solving. Collaborate within a team-oriented project environment to achieve operational targets. This hands-on technical role within Microchip's IP Engineering group in Hyderabad, India, supports the development of technology powering global infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE/ MSEE under Electronics or Electronics/ Telecommunications Engineering department
- 3+ years relevant digital IP/SoC verification experience
- Proficiency in building verification environments, writing test benches, testcases and coverage points, etc.
- Proficiency in developing SV/UVM based test benches
- Experience of System Verilog, UVM/ OVM methodologies
- Expert user of Siemens (Mentor) verification tools
- Working experience on scripting tools used for verification (tcl, perl, etc)
- Understand Standard Specifications/ the functional specifications/ feature enhancements for the product and create micro-architecture and detailed design for some of the components of the Test Environment for the IP cores in protocol areas such as AMBA (AMBA2, AXI)/ SD/eMMC/DDR/PCIe/Ethernet/ MIPI/ DSPs – FFT, FIR and Avionics – 1553
